After years of carefully preserving this exceptional Indonesian Oud, we have decided to unveil our treasures to offer you the unique chance to experience aromas of extreme rarity. These wild Aceh Oud chips represent an olfactory heritage that will soon disappear from the history of natural Oud.

This Royal Oud Aceh rightfully earns its place among the most coveted vintage Ouds. It is a precious treasure that has become extremely rare today, a noble wood whose value continues to rise.

We are pleased to share with you this rare aged Oud from Indonesia, an exceptional agarwood sourced from the deep tropical forests of Sumatra, in the remote and pristine province of Aceh. This olfactory treasure comes from a very old agarwood tree giant sentinels of nature that have withstood the passage of time and the elements, offering a truly unique and mysterious sensory experience.

This Oud is of extraordinary rarity. Not only does it come from the most secluded forests of Aceh, but it is also a sinking-grade Oud, making it one of the most difficult varieties to obtain. The natural process that creates this type of agarwood is complex and lengthy, where the tree develops a very dense resin deep within its core a resin that, over time, allows the wood to sink in water, an undeniable sign of its superior quality. Very few harvesters manage to acquire this type of agarwood, and even fewer pieces possess the purity and depth that make it a fragrance of distinction. This is why this natural treasure deserves to grace your incense burner at least once in your lifetime.

The resinous pieces, so dense they sink in water, are the most desired. Simply holding them in your hands and inhaling their scent offers a profound sensory experience that will forever mark your mind and senses, as their fragrance is so exceptional and unforgettable.

Owning an Oud of this quality is a must for any true enthusiast. This Aceh Oud instantly captivates with its unique spicy and woody aromas, reminding you it belongs to a different era, an ancient Oud with an extraordinary scent that transports you into a world of spicy and woody fragrances that linger in the memory of everyone who tries it.

If you’ve never experienced aged Oud from Sumatra before, now is the time to discover it! A rare Oud with a scent profile that differs from the more familiar types from Sumatra or Kalimantan. Its olfactory signature is truly remarkable and is best enjoyed at a low temperature for optimal and long-lasting combustion.

Olfactory Profile:

Our Aceh Agarwood is distinguished by an exceptionally pure, dense, and deep smoke that releases a sillage of remarkable richness. From the first wisps, you are transported into a universe where earth meets the noblest spices, where precious woods blend with balsamic resins to create a unique olfactory alchemy.

The opening notes unveil an intense aroma of moist earth, evoking the depth of Sumatra’s virgin rainforests, a raw and organic scent that soothes the soul and awakens the senses. Soon, fine and warm spicy nuances emerge, reminiscent of black pepper, clove, and subtle touches of wild cinnamon.

In the background, the heart of this smoke reveals the nobility of ancient woods, with deep sandalwood undertones, resin-saturated agarwood, and that honeyed nuance so characteristic of exceptional Ouds. The composition is elevated by balsamic resins with lightly sweet and amber facets, rounding out the whole and giving it a smooth and mysterious dimension.

This fragrance does not merely please the nose, it leaves an unforgettable imprint on the memory, that of an authentic, wild Oud, narrating the story of Indonesian forests in every exhale.

Indonesia, with its over 17,000 islands, is home to hidden treasures, and the island of Sumatra is among those rare lands where agarwood (Gaharu) grows naturally in dense forests amidst Sumatran tigers, elephants, and the iconic wildlife unique to Sumatra. Every aged Oud fragment from Sumatra is a rare gem, deserving to be shared with family or closest friends.

These pieces have been meticulously selected for their high resin content, so rich that they sink in water due to their density (known as “sinking” grade).

An Oud of this caliber is a must-have in any Oud lover’s collection. Our Aceh Oud boasts a truly addictive spicy aroma that reminds you it comes from a different time, an ancient incense with an extraordinary scent that transports you into a world of spicy and woody notes that leave a lasting memory for anyone who tries it.

A small piece on your charcoal is enough to perfume your entire home for hours. Every chip is saturated with precious oil, the very same oil revered in perfumery and which can reach extremely high prices.

The quantity of this Aceh Oud is very limited, don’t delay in acquiring this fabulous natural treasure, straight from the vast jungles of Sumatra!

Usage Tips for our Aceh Oud:

1. Prefer gentle heating (Japanese Kōdō or soft Mabkhara)

Use an electric incense burner with temperature control or a natural charcoal covered with a fine layer of ash to reduce direct heat.

Optimal temperature: 80°C to 120°C

If the heat is too high, the Oud will burn harshly, spoiling its subtle notes. Avoid placing Oud directly on red-hot charcoal as the heat is too intense and will destroy its noble aromas.

At low temperatures, the aromatic oils are released slowly, offering a refined and elegant smoke.

2. Use a mica plate (on charcoal or electric burner)

Place a thin mica plate over the heat source (glowing charcoal or electric burner).

Gently place a small piece of Oud on the plate.

This method prevents the wood from direct contact with high heat and allows for a slow and controlled diffusion.

3. Use natural charcoal covered with ash (must be high quality ⚠️)

Light a natural charcoal and cover it with a thin layer of fine ash to soften the heat.

4. Timing and dosage…

Use very small pieces (0.1g to 0.3g) per session.

Avoid placing a large chunk directly on the charcoal. A tiny fragment is enough to perfume an entire room for dozens of minutes.

Its benefits:

Agarwood is also considered a very powerful aphrodisiac. In many cultures, women would scent their clothing and themselves with its fragrance. Used in medicine, agarwood is a remedy for nervous disorders such as neurosis, obsessive behaviors, and exhaustion. It is highly psychoactive and enhances our spiritual connection. This is why it is the incense of choice for meditation, bringing energy to the center and calming the mind. Its scent will bring you well-being and relieve your stress.

It is known for its benefits against stomach aches, certain cardiovascular diseases, neuropathies, nausea, or asthma. It is even widely used by the pharmaceutical industry because it is naturally rich in terpenoids (a natural sedative and anxiolytic) as well as polyphenols (a natural antioxidant). It also aids digestion. Its medicinal virtues have been proven, notably for sleep disorders, cholesterol, and much more.

Its rarity and countless virtues make agarwood an extremely sought-after precious wood, and therefore, an extremely costly one.
