We are pleased to present our Oud Merauke 2020, a rare and authentic elixir from the remote lands of southern Indonesian Papua.
Distilled from wild Aquilaria Filaria wood harvested in the deep forests of Merauke in Papua, this oil is a living testament to the noble and majestic character of natural Oud. What makes this Oud oil unique is above all its age and olfactory maturity.
Distilled in 2020 and of Incense grade, it has had time to develop, round out, and fully reveal the richness of its aromas with exceptional longevity. Just a few drops are enough to perfume the skin and hair for many hours, even more than a day.
Upon opening, a veil of resin unfolds, balanced by refined woody and earthy softness. Soon, lightly smoky spices appear, enriched by a subtle oak moss, evoking the scent of the undergrowth in an ancient forest. Fumeroles of agarwood, a noble and warm signature, are also noticeable in this precious oil.
The heart is deeper, with an earthy signature slightly sweetened by honeyed touches and a persistent, almost amber warmth, reminiscent of some Oud from the Indochinese peninsula but with the typically Papuan character: raw, dense, and enveloping.

It evokes a dense, humid jungle, where the ground covered with soaked leaves releases scents of recent rain and decaying vegetation. Strong yellow-orange rays pierce the canopy and illuminate the earth. A discreet incense lingers in the air, accompanied by the delicate fragrance of orchids and white flowers. A precious oil, slightly smoky and resinous, with a sweetness in the background and a green, almost mentholated nuance.
